  1. Map Navigaion
 
Zooming :

The zoom menu lies at the right of the page, users can perform zoom in and zoom out operations to the map.
 
 
 
 

 

Users can specify the zoom level of the map by clicking on the zoom level numbers to zoom the map in and out in different levels.

As shown in the screenshot, the current zoom level of the map shows is 7x; At greater zoom levels, more information will be displayed. Such as the street name, hotels(represented by the "H" icons), and restaurants (represented by the "Cup" icons) are shown on the map.

 

 
 
Panning :
 
 
 
 



Users can pan the map by clicking any location on the map. The clicked location will become the center of the map.

Users can click on different icons displayed on the map, such as hotels, restaurants, scenic spots, bus stops, etc, to view the detail information of the object.

As shown above, Information on the scenic spot "Lisboa Casino" is displayed in a dialog box after clicking its icon.

 

 
 
  2. Bus Route Search
 
 
 

 

The bus searching menu displays by default at the left of the page, or by clicking the "Bus Route" label. Users can choose a bus-stop as the starting stop, another bus-stop as the destination stop and search for a route from the starting stop and destination stop by clicking the "Search" button. Clicking the"Show Route" button can even show the whoel route on the map.

As shown in the screenshot, The user chooses "241.Portas do Cerco/Terminal" as starting stop, "155 Portas do Cerco/Terminal" as destination stop, routing information between these two stops will be displayed after clicking the "Search button", while clicking the "Show Route" button can display the bus route on the map.

 

 

 

By choosing a bus number at the bottom users can also look for the routing for different bus numbers, as shown in the screenshot above. Users may also display the route on the map by clicking the "Show Route" button.

 

 
  3. Spot Search
 
 
 

 

The Spot Searching menu displays at the left of the page. by clicking the "Search" label. Users can input a keyword for the spot they are looking for, and then click the "Search" button to look for it

As shown in the screenshot, by typing in the keyword "lisboa" ,all the spots with their name including the key "lisboa" will be displayed. To look for a specific type of spot, users can choose a spot type at the bottom.

 

 
 
  4. Print Map
 
 
 

 

The map printing function lies at the lower right corner of the page, users can print out a hard copy of the map by clicking the Printer icon.

As shown in the screenshot, users can print a map at the current zooming level and state. Users can also customize the printout by inputting a title, content, or changing a color theme.

 

 
 
  5. E-mail the Map
 
 
 

 

The map email function lies at the lower right corner of the page, users can send emails about the map to your friends by click the Mail icon.

As shown in the screenshot, users can email the the current map by typing information such as the sender's name, sender's email, receiver's name, receiver's email address, and message body.
